We’ve seen college football coaches close the doors to their practices. The fear is too much information going out. Fine. I get that. But sometimes when the door is kept open, magic can happen.
That’s powerful stuff.
Know where I saw it? On Facebook. Brian McLawhorn, a friend of Shyft and publisher of Devils Illustrated of the Rivals.com network captured this great moment from a Duke practice today. The Blue Devils stopped practice and let the soldiers know how much they appreciate all that they do.
Cool moment. And because of social media, sharing, a quick-thinking reporter and an open practice, we caught a glimpse into something that would have just been reported about or a quick text-based tweet on an otherwise normal Monday afternoon. But we saw it. And it was moving.
